all of you guys with the heater set at 75, and the tank going up to 82... well, it's fine to let the tank go to 83F or so... but it's bad for it to go down to 74 overnight... since it's going to be hot, raise the temp to 81 or so...

I'm thinking the same. I try to keep my temp in the higher areas all the to e to keep the swing small.

I hit 83 for a minute. No fans or chiller or ac. Just fishies in there at the moment so all is well. I will break out the fan once i start stocking this thing up , I've also got a chiller in the garage, it's doing alot of good out there.
