How Long Can Saltwater Sit in a Container Without Circulation?

Yeah, so I have two gallons of saltwater I picked up at the LFS about a week ago. It's in one of those bottled water jugs with a lid (drinking water) and it's been sitting there without any kind of circulation. Is it still safe to use? What's the deal?

Yeah, it's fine. It may be low on oxygen, but very usable.

It should be fine. You can shake the bottle every few days to mix everything up.

i know scripts and other saltwaters have like a year shelf life.. or way more... it'll be fine...

Yea, I keep salt sitting sometimes a couple weeks and just drop a pump in to get it moving. Id just shake and use!

Red sea something or other.

I left mine sitting for a month. Good as normal.
