How long did it take for your Copper Band Butterfly Fish to start eating aiptasia, from the time you put it in your tank?
The reason I'm asking is because mine has not yet started, It's been 2 weeks already, and waiting!

I heard there are 2 kinds of CBB (same species but different oceans) and only one of them will eat aptasia.

If you don't want it cause it doesn't eat aptasia, I will take it, just don't starve the poor little guy

not sure what "taun toe" means, but name calling isn't allowed in this forum, and it sounds like something maybe you should say to my face, but I doubt you will come out from behind your keyboard to say it.

Just FYI, if he is a new resident in your tank then I am positive it is already stressed out due to it new environment and new tank mates, and with holding nutrition for 3 days will heighten that stress and it's immune system will drop and it will be susceptible to illness and parasites.

My bad, but taun toe means dummy in spanish as if I would just give my new fish away!
I apologize for calling you that though, I guess I wouldn't want to be called that either.

Will a CBB eat at my clams?

Maybe I can put my zoas/palys in my sump for a while with a PC light until the CBB finishes eating all the aiptasia.

What other corals will it eat?

I've had a small CBB for about a month now. It constantly pecks on the rocks as if it were eating bugs like a mandarin. I haven't seen it eat any aptasia though.
