Glue for me too. Because they grow faster when theyre secure. Whats the first thing an hard coral does when its healthy? Encrust its base, expand its base.

Im considering gluing my fish too. NVM, there already fat bastards.

Glue putty glue??
What's the point of the putty if you are using glue on both sides.

I use the BSI gel. I think it holds the best. I hate those dollar store gels. You buy a 4 pack for a dollar but they are half filled with air.

I wound up just using super glue gel. Two different dollar stores didn't have it so I just went to Do-It-Center and cleaned them out. Moved about 15 frags to permanent homes so far. :) Hopefully didn't poison myself with the first few zoas before I remembered to put on a glove. :p If I start puking at the SFVR meet, we'll know why!

I use superglue when I wanna get my frags off the pucks after they acclimate so they can be in their permanent homes closer to the rock to grow on. Only biggest problem is snails breaking them away from the rock even after super glued. Those things are super strong lol but still always worth it to super glue them in place especially zoas in my opinion

Do you just add some glue directly to the bottom of the polyp? It doesn't have any ill ecffects on the polyp opening? Or growing?

Yeaa, take it out and dab it with paper towel on the bottom and put alittle super glue on the bottom of the polyp and stick it to the puck or rock. Best method is out of water because glue dries faster but can be done in tank too. It won't mess up the polyps functions as long as you don't get the glue on it anywhere other than the bottom or side. It takes alittle finesse but after the first couple times it's easy to do. Best is when you're dealing wit multiple polyps that are attached with each other because area to place glue is larger and easier to master. I hold the polyp right side up and super glue tube under and have alittle super glue sitting at end of tube and dab the zoa to get the glue under it and stick it to the rock/puck. Hope this helps
