I thought it was okay.. Didn't see anything that made me say "I have to get that". There WERE good deals to be had for sure. More than anything, I enjoyed seeing and talking to many of the people who post here all the time. Good to see friends, old and new.
Overall I would say worth the price of admission...

It was fun. Sure some of the display vendors were being sour pusses. But overall it was fun. No sting rays in the touch tank was a let down though.

I enjoyed the show, not as big as I imagined but still a nice atmosphere and there were a few deals here and there. I'm just glad I could make it out and support our sponsors.

The only show I had been to this before was RAP, obviously smaller than that but still a good time. I grab a few frags.
The only crap part was I started on the wrong side and these two bitchen frags of Pac-Man and a killer strawberry short were sold. I'm gonna have to hunt me down one of those Pac-Man pieces, very unique colors.

Got a cleaner shrimp and a pretty cool yuma for $10 each, if my tank wasnt sucking right now id probably would of gotten more corals especially sps. But i did notice the MAX atmosphere is slowly declining each year. Still worth going, just like any other reefing event.

Grabbed three pieces of Hammer Coral. Two purple and a green for a good price.
Seemed like either today was really light (second day) or turnout just wasn't really there this year.
Made a couple new friends and will be stopping in at a couple shops in the next few weeks.

I held off making any big purchases because I am always nervous about buying stuff from tanks that a couple hundred people have been leaning over all day.

I will still go next year though.

AoA seemed to have the largest presence from what I saw. They had a nice Green Cabbage and a few acans that really caught my eye.

I like the show. Less crowd than RAP for sure. But that's good for buyers and bad for vendors. Certainly enjoy the extra elbow room. Lots of deal made but feel bad for vendors. Hope RAP can have a larger venue.

I got some cool fish and had a good time. It was a bit smaller than I pictured, but I'm glad because I had to chase my 1.5 year old around which would've been near impossible with any more people. Will return next year. He has no shame too, sorry if the little guy in the lime polo pushed you out of the way or rushed your kids lmao

This was my first show. I was a little disappointed because I'm used to the Bird mart. I thought it would be big like that. Still had a good time got some mangroves and some miracle mud. I was looking for gumbii but i couldn't find the make out booth.

AoA and Coral Oasis have about equal spaces. But I think neither made money. One of the AoA guys told me the timing of MAX being right after RAP Orlando hurt the turnout, and hurt their chances of making money.

Kind of 50 50 for me. I was at a vendor booth and I asked how much for some fruit loop zoas ĺ3 zoas on the plug mind you) and the guy told me $80 for the colony. I kind of chuckled inside and said you're quite a few polyps away from being a colony.

I just got home not too long ago from the show. As a 1st timer there it was interesting to see a decent size building but seemed everyone on the outside was cluttered in together.. There was a vendor opposite to chance of corals with the poor fishes in bags getting tossed left and right.. Now I'm new to this but wouldn't that stress out a fish?? IM just saying..

for me the show was dope... i miss that atmosphere, and i miss the all of the familiar faces...

the only thing i didn't like was that dumb bimbo pretended to bump into me and put a sticker on my back... then a silly little cave troll did the same thing... you know what... if you're going to give me a sticker, give it to me in my hand... i'm a human being not your f**en billboard... i'm not going to advertise your pathetic attempt of an LFS... don't put sh*t on people's back... that's so disrespectful... so rude and stupid... man, if i knew he put that on me, i would've shoved his head in a frag tank... seriously pssed me off...

but whatever... i told kevin i wouldn't fist fight with anyone at max again... LOL...
