This is so sad. I didn’t even know this cool aquarium even existed. 1 million gallons. Total loss. And damaged the stores and hotel. 1500 fish, all gone.

I saw the images of the fish. There were some large beautiful fish in there. I never heard of this aquarium either. I'm so curious about its life support systems.

I guess the reporter needed to really hit that emotional cord:

"Among the 80 types of fish it housed were blue tang and clownfish, two colorful species known from the popular animated movie 'Finding Nemo.'"
