Hey Guys,

Hoping for a good idea to mount my AI Hydra 26 over my nano tank. I don't want to hang it from the ceiling, I was hoping for some kind of flexible arm mount that I could attach to the AI and bend it to somehow attach to my existing light hangers of my main display.

With a bit of modification, like a mounting plate to attach the AI light to the arm, would this work? Or any better ideas? Jeffy?

This is an older pic but shows both tanks side by side. And my crude drawing. ;)

Thanks.

how much does the fixture weigh? making a plate / rail that attaches to the hydra and the kessil gooseneck won't be a problem, but i wonder how much weight the gooseneck is good for.

Want some peanut butter with that JELLY? ahaha old pic I actually have a little right now but the tank has more corals.
I noticed because it looks like you have an Angel in there and I know you got rid of it. Is that the one you're trying buy back from Jeffrey?

1. JTJ... no idea what that means haha
2. I think so but I will check later tonight.
3. Excellent.
1. Jesse decided it was a fitting name. you'll have to ask him about it.. >_>
2. the cantilever distance exponentially decreases the strength of the gooseneck, so the shorter the better.

i was looking at the split ring hangers from McMaster which could work on the existing light hangers, and they also have gooseneck, but as you can see, the load capacity goes down fast as the length increases.
