Hydrogen peroxide dosing for algae problem

I have a 40 gallon tank I heard you could dose hydrogen peroxide for really bad green algae problems. I've tried fish and other remedies but I want to try peroxide what would you guys think would be a good daily dose green hair algae

How big is your tank? I’m doing this on a newer 30g total water volume. I’m doing 1ml every other day. Starting to see results with just the first week.
