My boyfriend and I were cleaning up from dinner when we both got text messages that the temp in the tank had reached 82 degrees (~3-4 higher than normal). We found the tank dark with the lights out and running hot. Turns out the connector for the fan for the lights had gotten disconnected, the lights got too hot, the tank warmed up, the Apex detected it and shut the lights off and let us know. I've been really happy just being able to control everything through it, but the problem detection and alerts are awesome.
