hey everyone i picked up two acros today after inspecting it i found some spots on it (please see below pictures) , after dipping it i didn't see any AIDS ... my question to you can you hep me identify the spots , i'm worry to put it in my tank please advice...

They are definitely look like bite marks but in addition, if this source has maricultured colonies it is also possible they are marks from a gorilla grab. Ive seen first hand the work of those things and they produce similar damage.

lol... dude you have some amazing healthy acros and fish!!! and for the record I DID NOT GET THEM FROM I GOT CORALS ....the other two are sexxxyyy!!!.. i did a thread about them .

Yes, you will find spot markings. Another thing to look for since it is a frag is if the marking are on both sides of the acro. This would suggest the crab was crawling up the acro and eating with both pinchers. Its all theoretical but I have seen these guys at work a few times and this is just what I have observed.

I have never heard of those becoming a problem for acros. I will have to look into them.
