Hello everyone,
I need help selecting a new camera. I am wanting to get the canon dslr t3i 18 megapixel bundle from costco. I know the 60d has a faster shutter speed but im not that into sports photography so i cant see spending the extra $500 on that. Im more into still photography in the nature and tank pics. The one thing is im disabled and have no right hand so i need to use a remote control or a wired shutter thingy LOL And taking video as well. Thanks for the help and advice

Have you seen that new Samsung Galaxy Camera they just announced yesterday? Looks pretty sweet!!!
Before they announced that camera I was looking into one of those Sony Nex(C3 or F3) cameras
Now I have to debate between the new Galaxy camera or the Sony Nex...

hi there cheffzilla77,

I am a professional photographer and a reefer and i must say that I think the canon t3i will suit your needs perfectly. I do not think that it is necessary to purchase the 60D as for what you are looking for the t3i will be great. With this in mind your best bet is to buy the t3i and the best possible lens you can on your budget. Could you possibly post the link the the bundle in which you plan to purchase? that way we can give you some feed back on the items as the lens is what is really important.

Both of the cameras you mentioned have a self timer function that you could use, aswell as the ability to use a remote shutter switch.

The t3i is an awesome camera. I ended up choosing the Sony nex for a variety of personal reasons. But your choice is great, excellent camera, lenses are good to great, and technology and ease of use are superb. And lastly, getting a bundle deal at Costco is always good.

For underwater the Fujifilm FinePix XP20 Green 14 MP actually worked perfect for us. color is pretty true to actual eye perception when put into underwater mode-
