the best t5s imo is the ati brand. i think paul at fantasticfrags.com can get them.expensive but you get what you pay for.

From the looks of some I bought for a FW tank it almost looks like the color temp of the bulb is being altered by painting the inside of the tube and not by using different phosphors.

ati,kz,geissmann and uvl bulbs are all great bulbs with atis blue plus and aquablues being my favorite not mention some serious par. I agree, dont to skimp out on quality bulbs and reflectors which will make a huge difference in performance. Not too many places out in the IE that readily have these brands available, i think Mystic Reef in Jurupa is the closest and i dont believe they carry atis' but you could try giving them a call. I order mine through Reefgeek which carries most brands, theyre pretty cheap, have great customer service and have fast shipping, i usually recieve mine in 2-3 days. HTH.
