Such a shame. Turned my QT hob skimmer off since the cup was full. Went out to deal with it just now and noticed my male was behind the tank all crispy. There's a opening for my skimmer return in the net top, I'm assuming with the lack of surface agitation he saw an opening and went for it. Or its just a coincidence. Either way it blows! 5 days left in copper treatment, bah!

Sorry to hear... thats why I never fill my QT all the way to the top.... No skimmer just a very large canister filter. Has worked for me.

Dam sorry to hear Matt. I had a jumper this weekend also so I feel your pain ....next day (yesterday) went to osh and got egg crate as a temp solution.
