You need to buy some of this new stuff that is a stress relief for fish, My LFS said this stuff is from the UK and everybody is talking about it, and when they started selling it, everyone had great results, and guess what I used it, and low and behold it worked.
Here is the link, oh and by the way its called "Voogle":fisheye::fish::fisheye:

well it sounds like "stress coat" with bad british teeth to me...

but what the hey, might as well try it sometime... why?

because the 3 holy treatments of ich seem to be loosing effectivenes:

1. copper: some strains ich have evolved which require such a high concentration of copper the fish will die from copper poisoning

2. hyposalinity: some strains of ich can survive indefinitely at SG <1.008, below which the fish will die of renal failure or osmotic imbalance

3. removal of the infected fish: some strains of ich survive on substrate for ~75 days!! Tell me of an aquarist who had a fishless tank for 2 1/2 months and did not leave the hobby.

Yesss, we are selecting for tougher strains of ich, like we have for bed bugs and malaria...

Or, I could take my usual "fish whisperer" approach... hehe

Sounds good let us know how it works for you.
I used it in my display reef tank for my blue hippo tang, it is a 5 day dose, after 5 days my hippo had very little ick, and after 5 more days it was completely gone! I am real satisfied with this product!!!

After I saw how good it worked I searched the web and found it at Amazon.com Heres the link
http://www.amazon.com/Easy-Life-Voogle-500-ml/dp/B004KB1QCG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1304097773&sr=8-1

One 500ml bottle will dose 100 gallons for 5 days!

If you try it, please let me know how it works for you!!!!!:decision:

do you have clams in your tank?
No, but it's completely inveterate safe! You don't even have to remove any media, only carbon, and you can keep all filtration going even skimmer, and phosephate reactor, and you don't have to do a WC after dosing!!! great product!!!

I just used it again last night on my powder blue, and over night it's completely gone. I will have to say that the ick wasn't real bad, but none the less it had ick, and now it's all gone!!!:drum:

Ick is not always visible??? correct? My fish scratch themselves on the rocks and sand bed. I assumed it was do to the ich parasites attaching to thier gills. I do notice some very small white dots on thier fins and sometimes a few on thier bodies. Not many but 5-6 here and there.

Ick never really goes away! but by calming the fish, its own immune system will keep ick in check! Thats what this product does!
