Could it be digitate hydroids?

It doesnt look quite like that.
From what ive seen of hydroids they look "christmas tree"ish. My stuff is really spaced apart from itself and very bulbous at the ends.

I also have these in my tank, iv tried taking pictures of them but I can never get a decent pic. i have these growing out of 3 different zoas that i own. it doesnt seem to be bothering my zoas. but i did pull my zoas out of the water and used some hair tweasers and pulled most of them off and they havent been growing back. no idea what they are
