I noticed these white things start growing on the live rocks and among zoas.

Could someone please let me know what they are and how to rid them?

Tunicates? I had a bunch of them popped up randomly. I didn’t do anything and they went away. When my tank was fairly new.

Why do people want to get rid of anything the pops up in there tanks? I love finding new things. While cleaning my skimmer this morning i found a small slug. I have no idea how it got in my system, but I welcomed it into my sump. I would love to have some tunicates. They are a filter feeder and help clean your water like sponges do. I feel my system has gotten to sterile over time. My Bio diversity has decreased. I don’t even have any bristle worms any more!
