IEMAS Meeting 7 pm, Friday, April 2, 2010 (Guest Speaker: Adam Mullins of Mystic Reef)
When: 7:00 pm, Friday, April 2, 2010.
Where: IHOP, 4422 Ontario Mills Parkway Ontario, CA 91764-5107

Guest Speaker: Adam Mullins of Mystic Reef

The Mystic Reef is a great I.E fish store with a lot of nice farmed raised corals and really great customer service.

Adam will be speaking about Hitchhikers: the good, the bad, and the ugly. The primary focus will be on the good, including hitchhiking corals, which offer the opportunity to Aquaculture some unique specimens not commonly collected for the aquarium trade.

Mystic Reef will also be raffling various farm raised coral fragments, including a "Mystic Green Tubipora" which itself has been grown from a tiny hitch-hiking "mother" that came in on a maricultured coral.

Also Art Petit will be talking about how Sw-cfm.com (SouthWestern Coral Farmers Market SM) went and just thanking everyone from iemas for their help.

If anyone wants to trade or sell frags (corals) please bring stuff. Remember this club relies on member participation and attendance.

Iemas meetings are open to all non-members as well!

We hope to have you there.

Adam Mullins and his brother...MYSTIC REEF

Even though I live in Orange County, I will give the guys at Mystic Reef some props. I have been with them since they barely had tanks in there store. (courtesy of my now wife, whom lived just accross the street from there store). They are great guys and definitely have some amazing corals. Like the Rainbow Acan sitting in my tank.....:top:

I really think you guys will enjoy listening to them, as they definitely have great things to say and are very knowledgable about reefing and reef related topics. I have been in the reefing hobby for a very long time and actually being from the IE it is very hard to find a place that has a great selection of fragged and farmed corals like these guys do. I hope your guy's meeting goes well and I definitely have to give a shout out to the guys from Mystic Reef.....:congrats::congrats:
