Great meeting. Good info Cy did a good job showing the frag demo and explaining the process. I enjoyed the open conversation where everyone got to share there experience and joke around with each other. Good to see new faces also. Looking forward to the bbq and swim and movie night.

Loved it. This meeting was right up my alley. Thought of some more questions though. I have some acans and favia frags (not on plugs) that are about one to two inches thick. Can I cut those in half, removeing some of the base portion? Or is that going damage them and a big no, no? After handling a coral, some get that slimy gooey stuff around them. Is that a defense mechanism? Is it harmful to other corals close by? Makes me wish I had more to experiment, practice on.
