I do a five gallon water change every two weeks, and it's all from vacuumed sand water. If that makes sense haha

Thanks! You be surprised how much crap comes out of the sand, its always dark murky water.

Try bio pellets! I purchased a small reactor on Amazon for 50.

I'm trying carbon and gfo in a bag for now. did you buy that pico one on amazon? i never did research on bio pellets, but I'm assuming its just another media like carbon or gfo right? how often are you changing the media and which bio pellets are you using?

Yeah it's the CPR reactor, I'm using Ecobac and I haven't had to add any since I first set it up. I do have three bags of chemi pure in the system too haha
