I picked up an emerald crab the weekend before last to try to take care of some algae. Mr. Crabs was awesome, even though he insisted on hosting my frogspawn. He ate a bunch of my problem areas. But then he killed one of my stomatellas... I caught him in the act. It was kind of cute how he hugged the body to himself as he tore chunks out of it, but I do love my stomatellas (only had 3... Two big ones and a baby). Then it seemed like the little blue-legged hermits might have been disappearing, so Mr. Crabs was unceremoniously dumped into an unheated QT pergatory until I could get him back to the LFS. However I think the hermits might actually be okay and he was falsely accused.
Today is the first opportunity to take him back and I think he's gotta go. Every time I think about putting him back in the DT I think about the remaining stomatellas.
But we really liked him...
