My Tank Build

Man I wanted one of these back in the day. If I didn’t have a euro brace I’d buy it and add it to the back wall of the tank.

I had one maybe 14 years ago in my 120. Besides the water noise you had the belt and gear whirl that made it sound like an HO train going down the track unless it was perfectly aligned. Cutting edge lol. After that I went with a closed loop with a dart pump and an Oceans Motions flow diverter valve. Drilling the bottom of the tank with the intake and 4 returns. Getting good flow is so much easier now. I wonder if my perc clown can remember that far back, nah of course not.

I have an almost brand new on in a box that I never used. Mine must be worth $2.00 :) The idea is an efficient way to create waves and similar to how some large wave tanks create waves. I have seen larger variations used at public aquariums in the past in remote chambers if I remember correctly.
