i just went to tongs in huntington beach today and the owner was asking me if i could sign a petition stating that import of all marine creatures coral inverts or fish as well as live rock will be banned starting april 23rd? i am looking more into the issue but said that this has been in the works for awhile but nothing was said publicy til last week and now it is going to be in full effect and all LFS will have to close? help me please if you have any info

yeah the documents the owner at tongs had in his hand gave an example of breeding mollies....... if this goes through and you were caught with the babies and did not register them, you would have a hefty fine and at least 6 months jail time.........WTF is going on?
im afraid that if this is true.......no one even sees it coming! i cant believe nothing was even mentioned at max or any show i been to lately. thanks for posting your concerns and extra info. i cant find petition site but when i do i will post it
