My Inferno has been on the move for a few weeks. It settled close to my overflow. Common sense should have kicked in. After about of week of chilling, I woke up to find that a quarter of the Inferno was sucked into the overflow. Besides freaking out, I quarantined the pieces. The larger portion looked as if it would bounce back. The quarter piece was deflated and looking bad. I decided to keep it. As long as it was not affecting the tank water quality, I would see what happens. Yesterday the small piece had crawled up the side of the quarantine container. Today the bubble tips are inflating. For the short term, it appears that I will have two Inferno's. This is not the way I would want to have a split but it looks like tragedy averted. Now if I could trade the Inferno for a stratosphere zoa, that would be a happier ending!

Bad iPhone picture attached but you get the gist....

Well you had me beat, what happened? Frag and sell? I've got 4, but would love to get some more growth, haven't grown since I split the colony of 4, have 2 under T5/halides and 2 under LEDs.

I know I'm not touching them now, atleast for a little while. But I wanted to see the growth and if any color variances under different lightings. I had heard that under full spec LEDs they can lose their ring(s), and halides always seem to grow things faster. Do you know if you have the OG strain or the second batch that Will found?

I have the OG batch from Will... Which strain do you have? I think a lot of people have the 2nd batch from him which I don't like as much as the original ones...

I was just inspecting the ones under LEDs (little larger polyps right now), and I noticed 2 little baby buds getting ready to pop out.
