Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has deepwater yuma. I just want to know how you can tell deepwater from regular yuma. I couldn’t find any info on it. I just heard they’re super rare. Thanks

Yeah, seems weird to me too. Ricordea are one of the few species of corallimorphs that are found in relatively shallow waters.

I saw something similar to this and the guy said it’s deepwater and much more rare
That’s a really cool ric, but saying it’s deep water means nothing unless there’s a story behind?

Tell them to send you a pic in white light. For me, I like my shallow normal yumas, especially from Solomon Islands...those were the primo stuff back in the days.

If you see a bright pink Solomon Islands yuma, I will pay top $$$ for it. That is my all time favorite coral, and it was like 4" wide for me, and then it melted...I was broken.

If you have seen the old school Solomons, it was bright pink in day light. Like barbie pink.

Most of the yumas today are bright orange...than pink.
