just thought i'd share what i think is a pretty good deal if anyone is looking for a new tank

looks like it'll take 3-4 months to receive, but hot damn the 200g for $3k is a steal

i have an IM tank and love it. idk if i'm not looking hard enough, but i don't think i've seen anyone report tank fails or seams busting? their big tanks are kinda new though. mine is past the 2 year mark and seems rock solid *knocks on aluminum*

their warehouse is actually in torrance i believe, idk if their CS would allow it, but maybe you can even get the $200 S&H fee waived and go pick it up yourself

The warehouse is in Cypress/Cerritos area there. My friend ordered 1 Ext tank and he picked it up from the warehouse 2 weeks later. May be the bigger tank like 200 gallon, takes time to receive.

Yea I agree. I know some people don’t like innovative marine saying they’re low tier ect. But but I find them to be pretty nice. It’s not a reef savy or anything but what other company offers metal stand and external glass overflow. Plus companies like Red Sea and wAterbox are nice cause it comes with sump/plug and play design. But I person Rather have my sump designed to what/how I want.

also can’t complain on standard 3 year warranty lol

I do like the ease of the plug and play type tank. All the parts and sump is there, and you just put it together. You don't on't need to worry about going to HD for 100 times just to make everything fit. Just put it together like a new lego set, and start reefing!

That's incredible. I almost went with the IM 150 EXT instead of going through CDA. They were the only company I found that makes a 36" deep tank. AT $1250 for the tank I would have ate the 6" in height. I like that the EXT are glass overflows and sealed and the teeth are in the back glass. Very sleek looking. Seem to be built well too.

They are pretty decent thanks, and aluminum stands is huge. Red Sea and Waterbox are still using cheap parts to make their stands I’m surprised they don’t have more structural issues.

I absolutely love the dimensions of the Ext150, which is what my custom tank was going to be, but didn't have space to make it work. But now that I have my tank in place, I could've made it work. I think their larger tanks are underrated. I love my little 25ext.

I’ve never understood why people don’t appreciate IM tanks more… I’ve owned 6 of them in the past, from 10-120g and they were all impeccably crafted. Just as nice if not nicer than the RSR I have up now.

Been a member for 10 years now lol. Never done a build thread. I’ll definitely do one with this one since this is the first new large system ever for me.
