IO sea salt

Hey guys, curious to see who has used the IO sea salt. Not the reef crystals!!! How much would you have to supplement to have a thriving reef? Is it worth it? I've used the reef crystals before with no ill effects. There's an online store having a good sale on the salt mix.

Use it and it works good. I have to supplement buffer and iodine. Sometimes mag. I have a mixed reef.

I started out with the regular IO salt. Its ok but you do have to buffer it up. IMO its cheaper to use the reef crystals. Need to take into acount the cost of salt plus the cost of whatever supplements you need to add to bring the levels up.

I've used IO salt for about 5 years now. I've been dosing for the same amount of time as well. Why I switched from RC to IO is because I didn't want my parameters to get out of whack when I did a WC. IMO, if you dose or use a CaRx, there's no need for RC unless you want to bring your parameters up.

Yeah IO works great for me and I use it for the same reasons mike stated
