Irvine Salty Bottom Reef Co CUC Group Buy

Hi all,

You may be familiar with my previous Irvine ReefCleaners group orders. ReefCleaners is having a bit of a slow period with a move and a hurricane, so stock is out.

Salty Bottom Reef Company also seems to have a good reputation and, importantly, has CUC housed in invertebrate-only systems. I'm gathering interest in a group buy so that we can split the cost of UPS overnight shipping. If we hit $129 for our order, we get $30 shipping. Between 4 buyers, that's not that bad.

Please let me know if you are interested. I'll be organizing receipt of all CUC in my office near the Irvine Spectrum, acclimating them if necessary and passing them on to buyers when they swing by my office. Done this before a number of times for ReefCleaners orders and it's been pretty smooth. Pay when you pick up.

Updated. We are 3 buyers so far and order is going in tonight for Friday delivery. Thursday is a possibility, but most likely Friday.

Salty Bottom fell through. Three of the buyers (incl. Myself) want peppermints and they are out until further notice. ReefCleaners, Reeftopia and KP were also out, as well as some of the lesser known operations (RUSalty, Foxy...).

I'm keeping my eye on it and can let everyone know when an order will be possible. Florida vendors (those with invert only systems) are having a bit of difficulty restocking just now. Will update asap!

Just updated in previous post. I think it will be at least a week or two till we see enough restock. I'm keeping on it. Let ne know if you want to join the group (4 buyers currently) and what you want so we jump on it when available. I will always check with you before making the order and setting delivery date. Hi Isaac, they've restocked, and looks like we might be able to put in the order. But we're currently at max count for peppermints, I think. Do you need something other than peppermints? I might be able to share a few of mine if not!

Thanks for checking in. I think I'll pass this time around. But I'll keep an eye out the next time you throw a Clean up Crew group buy.
