Hi all,

I need to chop up some coral. I don't run a frag tank, so this is a made-to-order deal--I won't put on plugs if nobody wants them. Let me know what you'd like. I'll mount the frags and keep them a few days to check on health. All pictures taken with Pixel 6a with Orphek lenses (orange and yellow or just yellow to capture pinks).

I have currently detected NO AIPTASIA in the tank. There is one piece of rubble in the back with some hair algae, but nowhere else. There is some bubble algae in the tank but none will be on frags for sure. Will ensure no vermetids are on frags. All fish have been fully QT'd/treated except for the original pair of clowns that were in the tank for 2 years before combining with the other fish. No flatworms have ever been detected in the tank. There are a few bristleworms that I have seen. Microbrittle stars are prevalent. No asterina starfish ever detected in the tank. No zoa spiders ever detected. That's all I can think of for pests/diseases... Regardless, dipping is good practice.

A. Purple "Milka" Stylophora

This is the mama:

A1. Branch to cut off near goldenrod ($5)

A2. Branch to cut off (red circle) in back ($5)

A3 & A4. Previous branches cut that were glued to the rocks and have been there for weeks. I will just pop them off the rocks and onto plugs:

A3 (Left) for $5, and A4 (right) for $10:

B. Teal birdsnests, these were previously chopped and glued to rock several weeks ago when the colony went down--I think the stylo and birdsnest had become too dense and no flow was getting through, so I chopped off the good branches and dispersed. I am letting two go now. Will pop off rocks and onto plugs:

B1. (yellow circle) $10

B2. middle, $5, this one had a few burnt tips from the stylo pushing into the skeleton before I chopped them:

C. zoas/palys. I will cut and mount 3-4 polyps of each one you want and let them recover before pickup. First come, first serve while polyps last (minus what I plan to keep)

C1. Daisy Dukes, $10, originally purchased from Cultivated Reef--hard to capture color on these guys

C2. "Cornbred" rainbow infusion, $10, originally purchased from Cultivated Reef--hard to capture color on these guys (and focus is bad)
1705000631149.jpeg

C3. Hot Toddy palys, $10, originally purchased from Cultivated Reef--hard to capture color. They are a bit duller pink than the Daisy Dukes and Rainbow Infusions, fast grower though.

C4. Unknown purple skirt/lime green disk, $5, can't remember where they came from
1705000780082.jpeg

C5. Cinnamon Grandis Palys, $5 PER POLYP, originally purchased from Cultivated Reef (going single polyp on these since they are massive and I don't have many), sorry for the blurry shot, it is behind a bunch of other coral. Think I'll only cut two of them.
1705000946584.jpeg

C6. Pikachus, $10, 4 polyps minimum since they are smaller and harder to get a good chunk cut, originally from a reefer in San Juan Cap
1705001028678.jpeg

C7. King Midas, $10, originally purchased from Cultivated Reef, sorry about the blur
1705001499759.jpeg

C8. Rainbow Hornets, $10, probably only make one or two of these at least 4 polyps, originally from a reefer in Tustin or Garden Grove, I can't remember.
1705001576105.jpeg

C9. Radioactive Dragon Eyes or Toxic Dragon Eyes, or Emerald Dragon Eyes, whatever. $5, originally purchased from AquaSD.
1705001717655.jpeg

C10. Spitfires, $5, originally purchased from a reefer in Tustin. Conch not for sale.
1705001777151.jpeg

C11. Firecrackers, or Omega Flares, I don't know, AquaSD named them, $5, purchased from AquaSD--fast grower
1705001828963.jpeg

C12. Oxides, $10, originally purchased from Cultivated Reef, have some on plugs
1705001888293.jpeg

C13. Rastas, $5, I can't remember where I got them (#1 in photo)
1705001946965.jpeg

C14. White Zombies (#2 in photo), $10, purchased from reefer in Tustin. I'm undecided about fragging this one and will only make one if I do. My favorite zoa by far.

D. Shrooms

D1. Red rhodactis, $10, one or two available--they are currently stuck together on the same rubble
1705002101796.jpeg

D2. Green carpet shroom, $10, only one available, stuck to rock currently

That's it for now! I need to make space on the sand bed for a derasa coming next week, so let me know what you want! Pickup in Irvine, near Spectrum at my office. Thanks!

Thanks, waiting for the digis and the goldenrod to establish themselves as colonies before I start cutting them. Probably still a month to go, I imagine. Space is much more limited than I thought.

Thanks for the interest everyone. I will start cutting today after I get some work work done. Earliest you should plan is Monday or Wednesday, but I will report individually on health of frags.

Proceeds going to (1) taking coworkers that took care of my tank over holidays to lunch, and (2) saving up for a plank autofeeder. Woohoo!

Xmas derasa clam is on the way next week, so need some more space on the sand bed!

The montis are growing exceedingly fast (well done, All For Reef!). May be available by beginning of Feb. DM me and I'll put you on top of the list, so I don't forget. Same deal, $5-10 for those guys, depending on # branches.

Hi all, status update:
I am about 33% through cutting. Will have to continue on Monday, so earliest pickup will be Wednesday. Sadly, had a 4hr visit from the HVAC guy today to fix a whirring train sound coming from the heating, so that robbed all of my fragging time today.

Please let me know if this affects any of your orders, and apologies for the delay!

Thanks for the awesome frags Joe!

Birdsnest and Stylo are still doing great and the zoas were a steal for what you get.

Thanks everyone. I've gotten all of the first round of requests done. For those of you that wrote later with requests, I'll probably start fragging again next week--this week has been too busy. Will keep you posted!
