Thanks. That's good to know. I was told that I need to have more blue in my lighting so it will not lose color of this coral. Is that true or bs?

Good deal.. Not sure about blues.. But I have LEDs and run 65% blue- 35% whites , working great for me. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410134773.451309.jpg

Looking good. My existing favites used to look somewhat like yours but have now lost quite a quite of greens and become mostly purple. Any idea why?

Sorry.. Couldn't really say. Could be too much/ not enough lights? But I just got lucky w my settings I think..

If acclimated right they like light. I had
This piece on my sea floor when I first got it and it was losing color. I stuck it up on this rock and now is doing
Great. As you can see it's right next to some acros and a Kelly green Psammacora. I run gen 3 Radions at 70%. I'm probably going to sell mine a little higher than that price. image.jpg

Wow so you have your favites taking quite a bit of light. Isn't this a medium-to-high light requirement coral?

There's a lot of variables involved. I run a nutrient rich tank so some of my Coral that is medium light tends to do better with more light.

I've seen pieces half that size go for almost twice as much.
Was that a recent experience or something long ago? LA sells something like this for about $80. I thought the $60 price tag is about right but not super. But maybe I'm wrong. What am I missing ?
