I know quite a few members have mult tanks plumbed into the same sump but wondering if its still possible to have different levels of nitrates and/or phosphates from each tank? I recently plumbed a pico to my DT and wonder if I should bother testing individually or if its pointless. The only thing I can think of that can make this happen is rate of flow/exchange in the tanks.

Yes possible like you stated flow return not being sufficient but if its enough no point in testing the pico or vi-versa.

Awesome. Put that Nem and two clowns in last weekend. Plus added a rainbow hammer from fish collection

The Nem moved over a whole rock, but has staid put. I think it wanted more flow, it moved right next to the return.

The tank looks so nice in person. I'm super jealous. I wish I could sit in front of a tank all day. I would tinker with it so much. It would def end up being nicer then my home display. Lol

Nice! I agree the dims on that nano is sick! Not your typical pyramid aquascape you'd typically find in nanos. Has a real bonsai look to it. It'd be sick if she can keep a few acros in there to.

Yeah I don't think I'll need to check both tanks. Flows pretty good for the pico both inside the tank and on the return. I did get a bit of an algae bloom on the glass but I think its part of the mini-cycling and light intensity.

I'm gunna give it a few weeks, then I wanna try a monti. If that goes well, then maybe a birdsnest. I also have a green slimer that is impossible to kill in my tank. Might throw a frag in her tank

I have that same light on my 30g nano and in there, I have a Red Planet, Purple Digi and a Millie of some sort. All are up high and doing well.

Sorry to derail, now back to the topic. :)
