It could possibly be appies. But with that pic you are better off looking at pictures of them yourself and seeing if they look like what you have. We are just guessing otherwise. Lots of peeps have them in their tanks.... I'm sure they have pics to share.... here's one of my appies.

Will anything eat it (like the peppermint shrimp for the aiptasia)?
Or how about a fresh water bath & scrub? This rock is neat the top and easy to remove.

peppermints are hit or miss. luckily, i just got one and in three days, wiped out all the appies in my tank. I would ask who has one locally that's willing to lend you or sell you and go about it that way. I did and am glad I did. I have a couple more pieces that I will be putting in my tank otherwise I would let you have this little guy now.

Its hard to make out your pictures. Could it be just plain yellow polyps? Better pix would help a lot.

BTW: what's that pic by your name? It looks like somebody plowing into a pack of bicyclists. Could you email it to me? - lafishfanatics@hotmail.com Thx.

I can't seem to be able to take a good pic with my camera.
Too far for the macro feature to work and to normal auto focus is blah.
Don't have manual focus on the sucker.

It is a sad pic of some car plowing into a group of cyclist during a race.
Red neck game called Bowling for Cyclist.
I have the pic at work. Will email on monday.

Sucks for me cause I just found 2 more rocks with them. Heard Kalk will do the trick. What is it and where can I get it?

I used Kent Kalk before..... for appies, not hydroids. Those you see in the pic are still in my tank.... I'm a bit of a hitchhiker collector. I keep a pico filled with sundial snails.
