Is this compromised or fixable?

Hey guys was washing a sump out and noticed these two chips. I filled the tank with no leaks but eventually it might give out... Or will it unless there is a way of preventing? Maybe filling it? Help?

I think i have a chip worst then yours, been using it with no problems for 2-3 years... is it top or bottom?

I'm guessing that I should just cut out the baffled mbuy another tank at Petco's $1 per Gallon sale... And make the sump myself ..
