Is this guy eating my acros!?!

So I have been watching this snail on one of my acros for a couple of days now. After about a week I was thinking, ok he hasn't moved for a week, what's going on!?! I then tried to pull him off the frag and what do you know, he was eating it! I had to pry him off the frag! Has anyone seen this happen? Is he some sort of AESnail?!? Lol

You can see the bite mark ( chunk taken out of the base )

Google acro eating snail. I just picked up an indo colony today with one of these on them. It made it through a Bayer dip...so be careful.
