is this reef safe Heniochus diphreutes or not?

is this Heniochus diphreutes? or the non reef safe acuminatus?








I saw some at couple different LFS this week. I assume they are from the save shipment

Should I keep them in group or one is ok?

If the bottom extremity protrudes long than the tail its not reef safe. Either way monitor them.

I've had a heniochus and it was NOT reef safe Chomped my zoas and palys all day long :( He does look like a heniochus , but watch him.. they go rogue alot!

looks like the reefsafer version. Still not guaranteed but you can identify the different species by the anal fin. Like Orbela mentioned, if the anal fin cuts off vertically then it is the safer version. If the anal fin is slanted and slopes out to a point then it isn't.
