WOW!!!! 2008 already!!!!!

:wavey: Hey you reef geeks out there! Let's kick off the first POTM contest for 2008!

For Jan08, the theme will be Softies. So go ahead and take your best shot at capturing those Softies in your tanks. Each member is allowed to submit one photo only and please keep the width of your entry to no larger than 900 pixels. Submissions can be posted here until Sunday January 20th, after which each entry will be posted in a poll for voting. LOL, no one close to me has what I've got coming so I've just gotta wait. 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro for my Canon.....:marchmellow:

And you stole my idea Kenny :p, I was thinking a garden of different colored rics would make a great shot. I especially like the two in the front.
Nice, I am jealous. It'll be a while before I can even think about a macro for my Canon. Sorry on the ric group shot idea. I just picked out the first good one I saw. Unfortunately, I lost quite a few when my work tanks got neglected the last few months =(

But are corallimorpharians and other polyps REALLY considered "soft coral" :D :D :D
Now now, let's not get too technical :reddy: They are "soft corals" simply due to the lack of a calcareous skeleton, nothing more than that. Just enjoy the ride :shakehands:
