I have two wp 40 on my display from the initial release and going strong. Got a wp 25 from Socalireefs first group buy of them and it died. Tried new controller and power supply. Just a dead pump. Anyone else had failure.

The 25 first started out incredible, started losing umph, and then total failure.

Mines is getting weaker as well. Hasn't died yet, hopefully a vinegar bath will bring it back to life
Wait till u clean it, u will be very surprised how much the gunk build up is restricting flow. If it were me, I would cut out some of the back of the pump. This will help from it being restricted.

Well my controller took a piss on me last night. No longer controllable, it just pushes high amounts of water. Switched it out for my hydor since it's a small tank

Ive had the wp40 for around 8 months now, and so far it runs the same way as when i installed it. I do take it out and clean it at least once a month or so
