We are an importer, exporter and wholesaler of aquatic life that distributes display animals to public aquariums and retail shops. We are located in Gardena, CA and have been in business since 2000.
Position Available:
Aquarist, Full-time
Job Description:
Preparing fish, corals, and other invertebrates to be packed
Unpacking and acclimating aquatic animals
Miscellaneous holding system maintenance and cleaning
Diagnosing and treating aquatic animals
Other general duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
Excellent work ethic, reliable and responsible, eager to learn
Flexible work schedule (shipping/receiving animals can be unpredictable)
Able to work under pressure as part of a team
Able to take direction from leadership
Passionate about working with marine life
Requirements:
Valid Driver License
High School Diploma, B.S. in life sciences preferred
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
