sonar tech surface, or submarines?
for what it's worth to you, i don't recomend nuke unless you LOVE math, and paperwork, and tests, and a lot of red tape b.s. it's a cool feild with lots of opportunity for money, but if you don't love math, you'll hate it. long hours, lot's of b.s. to deal with. to top it off, the testing you go through in school never ends, you are tested, weekly, monthly, interveiwed quarterly to make sure you know your stuff, if you fail any of it, you'll be hating life.
not trying to scare you off from it, i just think you should be informed.
sonar tech, cake job, i'm on subs, and i WISH i was a sonar tech, i'd have a wicked easy job.
I got surface. Thanks for the heads up on the nuke. I do like math, but I'm not positive I'll take the position if I pass the test

Thanks. I might pick up the perc too....PM me if you have time during the day on Friday. I took the day off. Between 11-2 works best for me.

I am going to have to sell all of my livestock due to my choice to join the military. I'm sad to see this stuff go, but I have to do it. A warning before I list my livestock: I have problems with flatworms and caulerpa in my tank. Everything you buy from me should be dipped before it enters your tank, MY corals are in good health though.
Congrats on your decision. I actually do some work with the Navy, and If you'd like any more information about their programs, they just launched a new site.

Good luck!

It was nice meeting you and your family. My kids thought your dogs were "cute" :)

Good luck in the service. I know your parents are proud!

Funny thing happened on the way home....

I stopped by AIM for some Scripps water and saw a single piece of LR in a tank with Nuke Greens and Purple Deaths - now I know who beat me to the sale...lol. :p

The ORA black perc is acclimated and in my frag tank with a 4-line (he'll make dinner out of the flatworms). I need to cut the black eggcrate I picked up from OC Aquatic to make a 2nd level to hold all of the extras. I can tell you kept very good care of your corals. The sunset is very nice and the acans are amazing. :)
