so i finally got word i am staying in san diego, for at least 3 more years. that being said the wife has allowed me to upgrade to a 120g tank, 4x2x2, my dream tank for the last 2 years. there are compromises of course, like its on a 10" stand, i can't get proper lighting for 2 months, and she owns my soul..... well worth it!
i will add more pics as it comes along, this will be a slow process, and i will need help along the way, i have never plumbed a tank.
so i am at the point where i need to thread the pvc pipe, into a threaded bulk head, what thread size does it need to be, its a 1.5" overflow.
thanks and enjoy
jon

i had the 60g, fish only for a while, i was going reef as i joined this site, 60g went to a 12g, to a 34g, now to the 120g, and i've run a 29g, and 10g, and 20g at random intervals for different reasons, i guess i was just never satisfied with what i had, now i am.

Congrats Jon on staying in San Diego and getting a new tank. I started with a 30 gallon, then 55, then 110, and now 150. If I had more room in my house I'd get a 300 or larger. Looking forward to watching your progress.

lol, it was a lot of luck, and a friend of ours helped. i just started measuring where i could put the tank, and it took up less space than all my current small tanks, so she caved.
caught her in a good mood i guess.

Whoo! Glad to hear you're sticking around!! Aquatic Wherehouse has an awesome selection of plumbing, we need to get down to get the basic plumbing for the 100.
