I think the point is to draw people to the site. Hopefully they will stay and participate in the community that is being built. If 10% of the new people stay...then it's turned out to be a great advertising draw for Reefdiscussion. This is going to be a monthly raffle so it will continue to bring new people in. I'm looking forward to seeing how big this is by the end of the year.

Leslie has it right idea. Hopefully people who have tuned to this site due to this raffle will see how great this community is and will decide to stay. I will change the criteria for each raffle though. Thank you all...
