Is there anyone out there that would be willing to hold my livestock for maybe about 5 months for a cost?

Livestock are mostly sps frags and some mini colonies, few zoas, chalices, torches and 5 fish.

I wanted to start setting up my upgrade but most if not all the equipments I have on my current set up will be use on the upgrade and I dont really want to set up and/or spend more money on temporary tank to hold my livestock for a few months.

I’m hoping someone would take me up on this.

So many risks involved in having somebody hold your livestock.

If its not a store that can offer some type of guarantee, sounds like your best bet is to set up a mini frag tank.

I think a trusted friend would be best a store would hold you stuff as low priority, and can’t imagine it would be cheap
I don’t really have a trusted friend in the hobby, people I know from back in the days are no longer in the hobby.

Yeah a second convenient size system would be a plus making it easy for you to transfer it all.
I’ve had stuff with people over the years it never fully works out as planned things die,get lost….
can you tell me exactly on how it did not worked?

I understand the risks. If someone is willing hold them in his display tank and get the same care as his own livestocks, that’s all I could ask for and the only guarantee I need.

Unless those fish have enormous sentimental value, they're easily replaceable and I would just sell them. Sell all livestock.

Frequently a few months, turns into several months, the longer it goes on the more likely fish and coral are to die in someone else's care either carelessness or no fault to their own.
