How many people are using reactors or just simply using gravity feed setups?

I wanted to put some in my ATO, but don't want to throw my system out of balance since evaporation changes. Is this a valid concern?

I was going to do gravity feed setup since it seems simple and have the kalk in a 2 gallon buckle, but don't know how long the mix would last tho. Don't want to have to make new batches ever 4 days or so.

About 80 gallons total water volume. I dose 20 ML of CA a day
Liquid or dry ml? 2 Gallons is almost 8000ml, I would venture out to say it will last you quite a while. In fact I would only store 1-2 weeks worth of dosing to keep it fresh. Although IMO, your dose is so small, a water change should remedy your calcium needs, although not as consistent throughout the week/2 weeks.

I used thr brightwell kalk that gives the break down... just underdose and go up from their... its a ball park guess .. find your cal consumption and divide by the number ofndays your ato last and that's a starting point.

Dose for the number of days not volume of water.
