Checked out some tide pools. About 20 moorish idols a foot from me. Naso tangs, raccoon butterflies, convict tangs.

In Kapaa, the east side of the island. I was worried these two idols were doomed as they were in a small tide pool and it kept getting lower and lower. Thinking about bringing a couple home next week.

Yes, he was probably 3/4 of an inch long. I thought about keeping him but didn't. When I let him go he almost became food for a 9 inch long trevally.

Back to the same tide pools. Saw a little yellow tang, a tiny raccoon butterfly, a couple mantis shrimp. A dead juvenile unicorn tang.
