Not sure if you are trying to hide the power cord but I think wrapping it like that makes it look larger and even more noticeable.

In a few weeks these will be available from AquaticLife. You can run the cords internally on these suspension options.

That cable wrap might look a little better if twist it some so the seam isn't all buckled out.
