Are the hammers going to be able to take the light that the clam requires? How long have you had the clam?

I’ve had the clam for a few months and the highest par I have in this aquarium is 200

As long as you see new growth you should be okay, but 200 is kinda low for maxima. Tank is looking good.

When I purchased from CK fw that’s Watkins where they were keeping it at, they’ve had these clams for a while so I figured I’d give it a shot

I find that most stores don't keep their clams under optimal lighting, except Ali's shop. Cultured clams are a little more forgiving, but still require a lot of light, but wild clams are a different story.

Oh I bet! From the research I’ve done tho I see all the signs of a happy clam. Opens up, little mouth isn’t gaping open, more like oval, etc etc

Looking good. Keep an eye on that maxima to make sure it's growing, it looks to be in pretty low light.

Lights just fully ramped up
Par 180
Remember my tank is on the shallow side and the clam is right under the light

Mantle looks good, but you need to look under the mantle on the upper margins of the shell. It should be stark white (on the outside) and a few mm thick. Also, 180 micro moles is pretty low for maximas, in fact, I don't keep any clam in that low of light, unless it's been growing and healthy in those conditions for a long time.
