They should have contacted a shop to set up just one system with a scheduled maintenance plan to give an example of marine life. Then at the end of the season just come take it back then get a tax credit for it. I'm sure they're a 501A program. Cudos for them in trying, but that's the problem with many public programs, they jump all in and not much thinking is put in to what they're jumping into. Spent all the money up front not thinking about what happens next month. Good thing is they didn't get locked into some thousand dollar a month maintenance contract they couldn't afford. When January comes they're going to lose money on those tanks and donating them to kids homes without any knowledge is another fail. Problem with donated money and goods. Poorly managed because it cost them nothing.
Good community service and wanting to do good for it by those of you jumping in.
