Thanks everybody for the local suggestions, but I think I was more looking for the biggest/best stores in all of Southern California, not necessarily just local to me. San Diego? LA? Whatever lol I could make a day trip out of it depending on where its at.

Also, went to Tropical Reef Fish store today and was there looking at the frag tanks for at least an hour and some how was unable to find any algea and ended up buying a few new things for my tank.

There are actually a TON of SW stores in the San Bernardino/Riverside area. Probably 6+ within 10 mins of me. But our sponsors get the love.
I've only been to two one in Hemet and one in Temecula, there the only ones I know of other than TRFS but not been there... Yet :biggrin1:

I would have to disagree with you on this 1. Chad at coral gazers can get pretty much anything I want by 5 pm and in my opinion has the best coral selection in orange county. Ali's store is nice but he never sells anything lol

I agree with Sahn, but Ali was on Cylix list and he does have a great store. Reef Raft wasn't on the list and Tony's store is also really nice.

Anyone ever go to any of the San Diego stores? I was sure I would see some stores from down there on this list. Seems like all the best stores are in the orange county and IE I guess. Thanks everyone for your input

on RC i started a thread reviewing every store i've ever been to...

it was cool, since none of the LFS are sponsors... no one was hyping up their LFS... but i'm sure some were since everyone can sell out... LOL...

my pick is Coral Gazers. I hear nothing but good things from Chad's store all the time. He'll have what you're looking for and he'll have collector items too! I have a buddy who goes there several times a week. Excellent selection and prices
