Led Lighting

So the guy I was ordering t5 lighting retrofit fromwent out of stock on them and said he got new led lighting that will compete with t5. I was interested in getting these but have a few questions, for coral growth do I need blue LEDs also or just white? And if I were to have 8 36" strips of them was combination of strips should I use?
