Depends on the LED chip used. Some can degrade fairly quickly especially if it's not properly cooled. But a quality LED like a CREE that's properly cooler won't see any degradation for 10 years or so

Don't quote me, but I think Ron was telling me he noticed PAR numbers dropping on a pair of radions he had. I'm sure any led ran at high current with less than optimal cooling will degrade significantly faster than one run more conservatively and with better cooling.

I've had negative experiences with LED's failing after 18 months to a year. Not sure if it was the brand and product, (Current USA TrueLumen Pro Strips) I eventually migrated to T5's and Halides.
