Look at the reef breeders value fixture. I have it in my frag tank and so far my setosa, monti, and zoas are going good

looks like 4 blues to 8 whites which seems like the opposite ratio I'd want. I think it would be a gamble.

By the way 4 blues and 8 whites is gunna be SUPER white. It won't look good. U would need like 9 blues and 3 whites.

for which one? the orig par 38 bulb you were looking into? For those dimensions I think you're better off with Schnitzels recommendation (reefbreeders) even though you don't like hanging pendants. Its going to be tough covering 36x24 with par bulbs.

That's a gorgeous acan tank!
The par bulbs will most likely give you a much narrower spread than the kessil and even the kessil is only giving most of the effect in the middle. What corals do you plan on keeping?

haha yeah I'd stick with the halide for now. Those ebay leds seem like you're going to spend a lot of money correcting the color and spread around them. Prob wait for someone selling a reputable par 38 bulb with gooseneck for cheap so you can try it out w/o burning your wallet
